Hello and welcome to the first issue of Nature Notes!

As May unfolds, it often feels like a time when nature reveals its vibrant beauty - blossoms burst into color, warmer sunlight filters through trees, and fresh growth beckons us to take a moment to slow down and notice it all.

This month, I wanted to begin with something that embraces these May gifts: Receiving the Moment.

Sometimes we think of nature connection as something we must do, but often it begins with simply allowing ourselves to receive. A patch of sunlight. The sound of birds. The scent of leaves after rain.

These small, magical moments are all around us, waiting to be noticed. When we take the time to pause and truly absorb these simple joys, we open ourselves up to rejuvenation and renewal. It's in these fleeting encounters with nature that we can recharge our spirits and find a sense of calm amidst our busy day. So, step outside, breathe deeply, and embrace the beauty of receiving, allowing nature to nurture your soul.

May’s Guided Invitation

Today, step outside and notice one thing nature is offering you right now. It might be a color, a sound, a breeze, a shape, or a sense of stillness.

Stay with it for a moment. Let yourself receive it without needing to name it, fix it, or do anything with it. Simply notice what is here.

Then ask yourself: What does it feel like to receive this moment?

If you keep a journal, you might write a few lines about what you noticed and how it felt to pause and receive.

Share the Calm

Share the joy of nature with those you love. If this monthly note has inspired a moment of calm, why not pass it along to a friend?

By sharing this connection, you're not only spreading positivity but also mindfulness and renewal. Together, you can discover the calming power of nature - one joyful moment at a time.

Thanks for being part of my nature circle. I hope May’s blooming world fills you with a little joy too.

With love,
